Kia ora koutou:
Thank you for attending our “Let’s get Aotearoa Moving Ecological Urbanism: a talk with Salvador Rueda” webinar last Thursday 20 May.
It was an amazing evening.
Salvador Rueda and his narrative were, as always, impeccable and clear and we hope attendees will remember the day and his message.
Ninety people attended the live event at the lecture theatre of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation of Victoria University of Wellington and enjoyed a selection of Spanish wine and food.
Our goal was to attract people with different backgrounds and interests to our webinar on Ecological Urbanism as it relates to unique issues in New Zealand. It was very good to have policy specialists from central and local government, academics, design and transport professionals and climate change, transport, mobility and urban design advocates in our audience.
They attended virtually from Auckland, Christchurch, Invercargill, Whanganui, Carterton, Richmond, Rolleston, Ōtaki and Wellington.
We also had international attendees from Barcelona, Sydney, Melbourne, Faro and London.
Special thanks to our host the Victoria University of Wellington and our partner the Embassy of Spain in New Zealand for their support.
Ngā mihi
